 There was a vision to revive a simpler, wholesome way of life reminiscent of the early years:  A time when families gathered around tables for home-cooked meals and processed foods were a distant memory.  “From The Fields Meat & Processing”(FTF), The Grist families, and The Fields family - joined to establish a meat processing business that honors the simplicity and wholesomeness of the past. Leaning on their collective skills and values, they raise their cattle, love the land and oversee every step of the meat production process, from fields to the table. With a shared vision to bring back the authentic, unprocessed food experience, they aim to provide families with fresh, high-quality meat while fostering community connections. FTF represents a commitment to traditional values and healthier eating, rekindling the spirit of family meals and supporting a more connected, sustainable way of living.  FTF isn’t just about processing meat; it is about reviving a way of life. They will have open houses to educate the community about the benefits of locally-raised, natural meat and vegetables. Farm-to-table dinners will be available for all to taste the fruits of the labor and share in the joy of home-cooked meals. 

 From The Fields Meat and Processing (FTF) was established in 2024 with a vision to deliver high-quality, ethically produced meat while minimizing environmental impact.  Made up of three Tift county farming families, the vision is to bring transparency and quality to the meat industry.  We have a heart to produce a product that allows people to know where the meat comes from and gives confidence of what they are purchasing.   Our future state-of-the-art processing plant, located in Tifton, GA, will combine advanced technology with a commitment to sustainability. We operate with transparency and integrity, ensuring that every step of our supply chain upholds the highest standards of animal welfare and environmental stewardship.
